DUI: Marvy Akladious crashes car after smoking weed pen, tells police she “could not stop her car”
19-year-old Marvy Akladious was involved in a two-vehicle accident near Collins Park Drive and Bell Road in the early hours of April 28th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Akladious, who stated she "could not stop her car" after noticing the light turning red. Then, she advised officers she did not have a valid driver’s license or insurance. As they spoke to her, officers saw a weed pen on the driver’s side floorboard, and Akladious admitted to smoking marijuana around midnight. After being informed of implied consent, she agreed to provide a blood sample and was Mirandized. Akladious was transported to Nashville General Hospital and then was taken into custody for driving under the influence and having no valid driver’s license.
