26-year-old Trevor Duke had a car accident near McGavock Pike and Briley Parkway early March 6th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Duke, who advised that he had swerved to avoid hitting a vehicle and struck a pole. Duke reeked of alcohol as officers asked for his driver’s credentials. Duke then admitted to drinking multiple alcoholic beverages at Scoreboard Bar and Grill, where he works. Duke also stated he also attended the Nashville Predators hockey game and consumed more alcohol there as well. Duke consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and refused to provide a blood or breath sample after being explained implied consent. Officers discovered Duke's license had been suspended, and his vehicle registration had expired in January 2023. Duke was taken into custody for driving under the influence, implied consent violation, driving on a suspended license, and driving or moving an unregistered vehicle.
