Security staff at multiple bars on Broadway in downtown Nashville flagged down police after 39-year-old Kevin Griggs was denied entry and was reportedly "touching people" as they walked by. Officers found him to be sweating profusely and stumbling on the sidewalk. He was unable to form sentences, or provide his ID or the names of his friends or hotel. As he was taken into custody for public intoxication, Griggs catcalled and made sexual comments to passersby. During transport, he continued to yell sexual comments, spit, and make howling noises.
