Metro Nashville Police responded to the Thompson Hotel in downtown Nashville late Wednesday night in response to a reported intoxicated female, later identified as 39-year-old Lauren King. Officers arrived to find her sitting on the sidewalk, where she had vomited multiple times and was heavily intoxicated. King refused all medical care, and first responders were unsuccessful in contacting a friend or relative to take care of her. She was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
