54-year-old Kolleen Moore took a dip in the Cumberland River and made the police call NFD to pull her out. MNPD arrived at River Front Park after concerned pedestrians thought Kolleen was drowning in the Cumberland River. There are signs that state, "No Swimming." Police instructed her to exit the water, and she refused, yelling to them that she wanted to continue to swim. Police told her to come to them, and she began swimming away. NFD was called to retrieve her via a boat, and she was placed into custody for evading arrest and disorderly conduct.
